Frequently Asked Questions
Q:
What should I expect on Sunday mornings?
A: You can expect a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere on Sunday mornings at First Wesleyan. The ageless truth of the Bible is presented in a way that anyone can understand, whether you've been in church your whole life, or never been before. We also spend time worshipping with contemporary music.
Q: How do I find a Sunday school class?
A: Most of our Sunday school classes start at 8:45am and they meet in classrooms through out the church. If you will come to the main lobby in sanctuary on Sunday morning, an usher can help you find a Sunday school class that's just right for you.
Q:What's available for children and teens?
A: Both Sunday school and children's church are available for children pre-school - 6th grade and a nursery is available for younger children. For teens, Sunday school starts at 8:45am in the student center and then they can join you in the service at 10am.
Q: What should I wear?
A: There's no dress code at First Wesleyan and you are encouraged to wear what's comfortable to you. Some wear suits while others come in t-shirts.
