Green Village Christmas Celebration

FWC & Hope’s Children are partnering together to reach out to the Green Village community this Christmas. We will be presenting the Christmas story, sharing songs, and having fun face painting & playing games with the children. We are also going to be handing out food, coats & toys. New and gently used coats and toys are being collected in the children’s department.

On Dec 7 & 14, we will be collecting bags of food that will be a blessing to many of the families in Green Village. If you would like to reach out in the practical way, grab a brown bag in the lobby that has a list of the requested items. Each bag costs approx. $25. Our goal is to collect 150 bags, and with your help we can reach that!

Early Prayer
Prayer is the missing ingredient in many people's lives.  It is the channel through which we unlock the direction and blessing of God.  Our mission at First Wesleyan, is too important not to pray.  Join us @ 7am in the Main Sanctuary every Sunday as we Reach UP to God, that he would empower us to Reach IN and Reach OUT with the love of Jesus.  God says He'll do it, but we have to ask...

Photography Classes
Learn to express your God-given creativity!  Develop skills in capturing beautiful images of travel, nature, people, events and architecture with an eye towards lighting and framing.  Your guide is professional Skip Baumhower.  This is open to everyone 13yrs and older.  Bring your film or digital camera and get ready to have fun.  The total cost is only $65.00 for 3 classes (send your registration to the church office and the proceeds contribute to First Wesleyan's ministry in Guatemala).
